Russ Wittmann is SVP of Technology at Silverback Marketing. He has been with the company since it was founded in 2007. He has worked in the Internet Development, Marketing, and Design field for over 11 years. He has worked with multiple cutting edge technologies in the Internet marketplace, including: Content Management Systems, Blogs, Social Networks and Development Languages, such as, php, django, ruby on rails and other various frameworks.
Russ has worked with a wide variety of clients such as CNET Networks, Forbes, Wall Street Journal, Rooms.com, A.E.Feldman, CandleStyle and Hachette Publications. Russ values every client and provides excellent top quality dedicated customer service.
Russ spent 7 years at USWeb as Director of Development, Production and Social Media. Utilizing his expertise and experience with each client, he facilitates clients to achieve and establish a personalized and customized web presence on the Internet; whether it be through a company website, a Social Media Network with a Blog, or other alternatives to meet their individual needs.
Prior to working with USWeb & Sliverback Marketing, Russ served as an exemplary employee of the City of San Diego for 7 years as an Information Systems Analyst II, with complete responsibility for huge network infrastructures and citywide web applications throughout multiple departments and the airports owned by the city. Within the first few years of service, the city acknowledged and recognized his quality service by honoring him with the Outstanding Customer Service Award and Employee of the Year for the City of San Diego.
Russ has spent his entire life in Southern California. Married to his wife and love of his life for 21 years and still going strong. He has been blessed with two wonderful sons. When Russ isn’t working, he enjoys time with friends and family, especially riding dirt bikes in the desert with his family.
