Al Frear, SVP Operations
As Silverback’s SVP Operations, Al is directly responsible for ensuring Silverback’s clients receive outstanding service, focus, and result-oriented search engine marketing results with their campaigns. Al’s core responsibilities encompass the centralized coordination of client entire production process, as well as overseeing and managing the overall client experience, business & strategy development. Al conducts account planning activities to ensure sound, achievable objectives and strategies are being established for each client to ensure client expectations and timelines are being met. Al also collaborates closely with Silverback’s production team, the reporting & analytics team, creative and web development resources, and various other resource types within the organization to manage deadlines, and embraces the ability to multi-task and problem solve with a ‘can-do’ positive attitude.
Al consistently provides inspiration and strategic vision to the entire account team and has broad, agency-wide responsibility for ensuring all departments collaborate to provide a consistent, high level of solution development and service delivery. With an extensive background in technology, working for companies such as Platinum Technology and Mastering Computers, and online advertising working with companies such as iCrossing and MyGeek, Al supplies an experienced perspective to all client campaigns and provides overall support and direction of the Silverback Management team.
Prior to joining Silverback, Al spent six years with USWeb, an online marketing agency, working with such clients as CNET, Dow Jones and Expedia, helping to increase their internet presence and brand recognition. Al received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University.
